Provision of Employee Counselling Services to North Ayrshire Council
This contract is to provide counselling support to employees of North Ayrshire Council. The elements of the contract are to provide: 1 – a 24 hour telephone helpline to all employees; 2 – Face-to-face structured counselling appointments for employees referred by North Ayrshire Council Management, Occupational Health Practitioners, etc. Contract duration is 1 year initially with option to extend up to 3 additional 12 month periods subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
The Economic and Social Value of Gaelic as an Asset
Highlands and Islands Enterprise, in partnership with Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Scottish Natural Heritage, Highland Council, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Argyll & Bute Council and Creative Scotland, wish to commission a study to consider, evaluate and robustly evidence the current and potential use of Gaelic as an asset to the economy and society of the Highlands and Islands and Scotland as a whole. One of the aims and objectives is to make recommendations as to how investment might best be targeted to support businesses, social enterprises and communities to maximise the economic and social impact of Gaelic in the Highlands and Islands and across Scotland as a whole.
