Provision of Professional Services for Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Projects 2013-14

Argyll and Bute Council has been allocated a budget from the Scottish Government to deliver the Cycling, Walking and Safer Streets Project within financial year 2013-14. As part of this delivery, Argyll and Bute Council’s Sustainable Travel Co-ordinator requires the services of a Consultant to assist with implementing the design and/or construction of up to seven projects initially, with additional ones requiring investigation throughout the financial year. Argyll and Bute Council intends to enter into a single-supplier agreement to assist with the delivery of the following projects which have been identified for development by Argyll and Bute Council within the “Cycling, Walking, Safer Streets” programme for 2013 -14.
1. South Islay Distilleries Path Phase 1 (construction estimate £170,000)
2. Kintyre School Routes (2 schools) – design only
3. South Shian (construction estimate £25K)
4. Dunollie – Ganavan (assistance with tender preparation, and community consultation.)
5. Glassary – Bridgend design and construction (construction estimate £130K)
6. Connel Station – NCN design only

Care at Home and Housing Support

Framework Agreement for the Provision of Care at Home and Housing Support services across the Renfrewshire Council Area. This floating support shall be provided, almost entirely, for older people in their own homes but may be provided, by exception, to other vulnerable adults. The Service shall be provided according to assessed need for personal care and support and may include an element of housing support service.

A Tenderers Briefing Meeting will be held at 09:00hrs on Wednesday 15th May 2013 in The Wynd Centre, 6 School Wynd, Paisley PA1 2DB. The aim of the meeting is to explain the requirement in more detail and to answer any questions from Tenderers.
