The Purchasers are inviting Tenders for the provision of Alcohol Support Services comprising 2 separate lots, namely:
1) Alcohol Information and Advice Service, and:
2) Care Managed Alcohol Support Service
Details of both lots are outlined in the Service Specifications at Section 4 of the Invitation to Tender.

Contract for Bulky Waste from Special Uplifts and Similar Services – North Lanarkshire Counil
The provision of facilities for the receipt, segregation, treatment and disposal of Bulky Waste from Special
Uplifts Service and other similar services provided by other council departments, delivered by, or on behalf of
the Council. This does not include items covered by the council’s Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) Collections.
The Council has made a commitment to a Community Benefits approach to procurement to ensure that the Council secures, in compliance with legal requirements, the maximum economic and social benefit for communities, community organisations and SMEs from capital investments and services being purchased by the Council.
Accordingly contract performance conditions and evaluation criteria may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. This will be more detailed in the tender documentation.

North Ayrshire Council – Third Sector Procurement Register
Notice Type: Future Contract Opportunity
As part of its commitment to increasing opportunities for Third Sector Organisations and to assist in the inclusion of relevant and proportionate Third Sector targets within Community Benefits clauses North Ayrshire Council is creating a Third Sector Procurement Register.
The Register will not be restricted to North Ayrshire Third Sector Organisations however it will be restricted to Third Sector Organisations which can provide services, supply goods or carry our works within North Ayrshire.
The information requested in the attached questionnaire will be used to compile a North Ayrshire Council Third Sector Procurement Register which will:
– identify the availability of Third Sector Organisations whilst carrying out Quick Quotes through Public Contracts Scotland.
– enable the Council to identify areas where appropriate TSO’s exist and include relevant and proportionate Community Benefits clauses in contracts.
– where appropriate be made available to applicants tendering for North Ayrshire contracts.
Applicants should be aware that the creation of this register cannot guarantee that any increased level of business will be awarded to Third Sector Organisations entered on the Register.
Questionnaires must be returned to AlistairMunn@north-ayrshire.gov.uk no later than 21st March 2014.
