General Wastes from Household Waste Recycling Centres – North Lanarkshire Council

The provision of facilities for the receipt, segregation, treatment and disposal of mixed general household waste, delivered by, or on behalf of the Council, from the Council’s licensed Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC’s).
The Council has made a commitment to a Community Benefits approach to procurement to ensure that the Council secures, in compliance with legal requirements, the maximum economic and social benefit for communities, community organisations and SMEs from capital investments and services being purchased by the Council.
Accordingly contract performance conditions and evaluation criteria may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. This will be more detailed in the tender documentation.

Aids for Daily Living – North Lanarkshire Council

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of Aids for Daily Living. Details are contained in the attached Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). Applicants who submit their PQQ and are invited to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage will receive full descriptions of all the core products required for each lot. Each supplier shall be capable to provide all core items on each Lot they are awarded to. It is also envisaged that suppliers will be capable to provide fixed percentage discounts for non-core products from their catalogue.

The duration of the framework agreement will be for an initial 3 year period with the option to extend for a further 12 months at the Council’s sole discretion.

City of Edinburgh Council External Works Framework

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to commission three Framework Contractors to provide multi-trade works to carry out the Neighbourhood Environmental Programme (“NEP”) in housing estates and other External Works required across the Council. This NEP element of the works represents the core programme managed under the Housing & Regeneration Division within the Council. The works involved is mainly hard and soft landscaping, fencing, paving, minor road works and external works developed from Neighbourhood Partnerships, Local Community Plans and NEP Masterplans. However as this contract can be utilised by any other department they contract has been advertised at a higher contract value. Mental Health Support Service for Adults – Aberdeen City Council

Aberdeen City Council is commissioning a recovery focused Support Service for people with mental health problems, mental illness and personality disorder which promotes social inclusion (Service 1). In addition to the support service the service provider will provide a first response and advice service for individuals who may require immediate short term support (Service 2).

The Contract duration shall be 3 years, the planned commencement date is 1st October 2014.

Project 12/148 Battery Park Skateboard Park  – Inverclyde Council

Design and Construction of a skateboard park at Battery Park, Greenock including the demolition and removal of existing drainage and ancillary works and obtaining Planning Consent and Building Warrant.
The location of the park is Battery Park, Eldon Street, Greenock.
The timescale for completion of the construction work: 12 weeks from receipt of Planning Consent.
