Creative Industries Trade Networks – Highlands and Islands Enterprise

In 2009 HIE developed an approach to sectoral support, with Creative Industries Trade Networks at its core. These sub-sectors remain HIE’s priority areas. The trade networks have been encouraged to work together whenever possible, and have come together to deliver goNORTH, Scotland’s leading creative industries business to business annual conference and showcase.

Creative Industries has been identified as one of the priority growth sectors by the Scottish Government and HIE’s current requirements have been divided in to five closely aligned areas (as follows):

Screen and Broadcast
Crafts, Fashions & Textiles
Writing and Publishing

Tender For Personal Care and Housing Support (Including Home Based Respite) – Angus Council

Angus Council is inviting organisations who can provide personal care and/or a housing support (including home based respite services) registered service (Registered with the Care Inspectorate)to people in Angus to tender for these services. The aim is to establish a multi-supplier framework.

The main aim of any support provided is to enable individuals to be supported to live where they want to live and feel safe, to be treated with respect and dignity and maintain or improve the skills they need to remain in their own home if this is what they want.

Services provided may include personal care services and housing support services and could also be provided as home based respite for a carer as well as the individual receiving services.

Forgewood Community Centre – Garrion People’s Housing Co-operative

Forgewood Housing are intending to demolish the existing community centre in Forgewood, Motherwell and replace it with an up to date community facility. The building will include recreational, social, business and office space. the building will be approximately 800 square metres over two storeys.
