PSP Sustainability Toolkit launched

Ready for Business has published a Sustainability Toolkit that supports organisations in planning and achieving sustainability following the successful piloting of your new PSP service. Have a read at the toolkit here.

Public Sector Spend

Ready for Business has produced an analysis of public sector procurement spend by five selected Scottish local authorities. It turns out that the selected Councils spend 7-15% on Third Sector Suppliers. The full report can be seen here.

Ready for Business Workshops

Ready for Business runs free bespoke workshops on a variety of procurement related topics. Our workshops are delivered by experienced advisers and, where appropriate, include contributions from legal experts. Current topics include;

• Social Value in Commissioning

• Community Benefit Clauses in Procurement

• Public Social Partnership model

Formats and timings are flexible but typically workshops are ½ day and can be run for groups of 10 – 30 delegates. All our workshops include a significant level of group work and facilitated discussion and we are happy to discuss content and approach so that the outcomes are appropriate for the group.
