The Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park Community Partnership (Community Partnership) is a limited company with charitable status. It was established in 2002 to support communities around the Park to achieve their ambitions. In 2010 the Community Partnership became a membership organisation with members drawn from Community Development Trusts, Community Councils and other community interest groups.
The Community Partnership helps identify and implement projects that will have a benefit to all communities in the National Park. This includes a new Skills Partnership for the Park which has developed from the Community Partnership’s flagship Apprenticeship Support Scheme. Funding for the Skills Partnership was secured from LEADER Forth Valley & Lomond in January 2013, to develop and deliver a range of skills related pilot projects until December 2014. In July 2014 one of two project officers employed gained promotion within the organisation creating this vacancy.
The Community Partnership is now seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to assist with the delivery of the final stages of the pilot phase of this project. Working as part of the Skills Partnership team, your role will be to engage with both businesses and young people to encourage participation and promote employment opportunities in the target sectors of land-based; tourism and hospitality; and local food production.
