West Lothian Council seek to commission an artist or organisation to deliver public art and associated community based events at locations within Almondvale, West Lothian.
West Lothian Council in partnership with Sustrans, are revitalising Almondvale Park in Livingston and require the inclusion of public art as part of the wider range of improvements to the green spaces.
The aim of the public art element of the overall project is to visually improve, brighten and upgrade 1 underpass and 3 under-bridge areas in Almondvale Park in Central Livingston, by creating permanent works of art through any media, e.g. creative permanent outdoor lighting, paint, any permanent 2D, or inclusions of 3D on the walls/ structures in these locations.
The selected candidate must also be able to deliver a realistic and achievable series of meaningful, connected and local community engagement events that generate connected themes which will inspire the visual language for the project and have the potential to realise sited permanent art works at all for 4 selected locations in the park.
The total project budget is: £27,000.00 and is non-negotiable. This budget encompasses all engagement activities, materials, any planning permissions, fabrication and installation costs and fees.

The works comprise clearing existing planting beds and grassed areas, preparing for and planting new turf, plants, shrubs, and trees throughout the park.
Pittencrieff Park and its facilities will remain operational and open to the public throughout the duration of the works. The on-site dates of the contract must suit events in the park.

The Scottish Government invites tenders for the establishment of a Framework Agreement for the provision of IT Training Services.
The Framework Agreement will primarily be available for use by the Scottish Government Information Services and Information Systems (ISIS), Information Management Unit and ICT Capability & Professional Development Team. The Agencies and Associated Departments and Scottish Non Departmental Public Bodies served by Scottish Ministers listed will also have access to, and call off from, the Framework Agreement.
The Framework Agreement will be tendered in 3 separate Lots:
Lot 1 Electronic Record Document Management(ERDM)Training
Lot 2 End User Training
Lot 3 IT Specialist Training
Lot 1 will be awarded to a single supplier only. Lot 2 will be awarded to a single supplier only. Lot 3 will be a ranked multi-supplier arrangement (Up to a maximum of 4 suppliers). Suppliers can tender for one, two or three Lots.

To provide a service for young adults (scope 18-25 years of age) who have disordered, thought processes which make it difficult for them to control their behaviours and feelings and cause high levels of stress and a sense of being over-whelmed, and which may lead to among other behaviours self-harm i.e. medical diagnosis borderline personality disorder at the higher end of risk. The services can be residential or non-residential including full day services, specific therapies may include some or all of the following: Art therapy, Mediation based therapy, Dialectical behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Schema Therapy and may or may not include the use of medication.
