Below are some selected future contract and tender opportunities that may be of interest to social enterprise / third sector organisations to apply for either individually or in partnership with each other or private sector organisations. The Wise Group has been invited to submit a Stage 2 bid for Tyne and Wear (NE/1/3) to the Big Lottery Fund Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme, a programme funded by Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund, which is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth Programme 2014 to 2020.
The Wise Group will be submitting the BBO Stage 2 bid in mid May 2016 but it will need to be finished by the end of April. As part of the preparation to submit this bid the Wise Group wishes to commission consultancy services to support the writing of the bid. We are also commissioning research and mapping services to inform the design of the final delivery solution of the bid and provide content within the bid. This is commissioned separately, within the same timeframe.

South Ayrshire Council has a requirement for an End-to-End Employability Skills Pipeline Service to support the Council and its Community Planning Partners (CPP) to tackle unemployment, worklessness and low skills in the local economy.

The Contract is for a Service that will provide a minimum of six places in appropriately robust residential accommodation, including related support, for individuals who challenge the living environment and other people.
The City of Edinburgh Council provides care and support for people with a learning disability. As part of its efforts to reduce or avoid hospitalisation and / or the inappropriate use of secure accommodation, the Council’s department of Health and Social Care wishes to source robust residential accommodation for a small group of individuals with complex care needs who challenge the living environment and other people.
Initial consultation with potential providers confirmed that providers would be interested in bidding to provide a housing and support service, including accommodation and staffing, for a small group of people with complex care needs. By developing robust resources the Council will be able to offer transitional support to a wide age range of people with challenging behaviours, autism and / or a learning disability, and ensure that this group of people receives safe, appropriate, high quality care. The decision about which specific individual service users are to receive the service will be made after award of contract. The date of commencement of service delivery will depend on the date of available housing following the Provider’s construction or preparation of the accommodation.

Bids are invited by Skills Development Scotland “SDS” from organisations that have experience and expertise in delivering professional ICT and digital technology skills and training opportunities, to deliver transition training to support the current and emerging needs of employers in the sector in Lowland Scotland.
This does not include interventions related to the delivery of ICT skills or activities related to digital participation. And should complement existing provision such as MAs, Masters degrees and Codeclan.
The Fund will deliver practical solutions to the critical skills challenges faced by the ICT/digital technologies sector, focusing specifically on ‘transition training’ for career conversion of experienced workforce with individuals with associated experience and generalist qualifications to become industry ready at an accelerated pace.
