2 Year Old Early Learning and Childcare 2016/2017 – Moray Council

The Moray Council has a duty, under the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 to provide appropriate Early Learning & Childcare for children in the Moray area who are aged two and whose parents/carers are in the receipt of one of the following:

– Income Support
– Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
– Any income-related element of the Employment & Support Allowance
– Incapacity Benefit or Severe Disablement Allowance
– Pension Credit
– Child Tax Credit but not Working Tax Credit and your income is below 16105GBP
– Both maximum CTC and WTC with income less than 6420GBP
– Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
– Universal Credit

Or who are considered eligible under the Act and subsequent regulations. Partner providers of Early Learning & Childcare in Moray are entitled to receive funding for children born between 1st March 2014 and 28th February 2015 and are considered eligible by The Moray Council.

The level of funding is determined annually by The Moray Council. The funding level for the 2016-2017 financial year is 17.25GBP per session based on a session being 3 hours and 10 minutes for a maximum of 600 hours per year which can be used flexibly to meet the needs of the child and their family.

Interested suppliers are required to submit the following documentation on application:
– A valid Care Inspectorate Registration certificate
– Profile – 2 Year Old Early Learning and Childcare (which will be issued to those that show an interest)

Glasgow Clyde College is seeking to appoint a competent Contractor to work with the College to design and develop a new website which meets the College’s strategic objectives.

Framework Agreement for the Provision of Screening, Crushing and Recycling of Inert Material

The Contractor will provide an outlet for the screening, crushing and recycling of segregated inert (non-reactive) material arising from Falkirk Council’s operations. This material has been segregated for reuse or recycling. To receive source segregated inert material and to screen and crush the material as appropriate and process the material for reuse or recycling. The material will mainly comprise non-reactive uncontaminated inerts including but not restricted to brick, stone, concrete, rubble, soils, tiles, and crockery. To liaise with staff from the respective council department or representatives acting on the Council’s behalf to ensure the efficient and timely receipt of the inert material. In line with the objectives of the Zero Waste Plan, to maximise the quality and amount of material(s) reused or recycled, thereby minimising the amount of material going to landfill. To minimise the overall environmental impact and cost of the service by maximising the receipt of the source material, including minimising the number of vehicle movements and handling operations for materials. Provide and encourage appropriate training for all workers employed in the service to ensure safe, efficient handling and a high level of customer service. Monitor service provision and customer satisfaction. To be alert to opportunities to develop services to maximise the opportunity for income received for the material delivered.

British Sign Language-based Video Relay Service – Scottish Government

The Scottish Government requires a Contractor to provide a fully managed online Video Relay Interpreting Service (VRS). The purpose of the Service is to enable Scottish Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users to access and interact with public sector bodies and third sector services. The Service will offer Scotland’s 6,500 BSL users the means to communicate, in real-time, with public services via video-call and a BSL/English interpreter.

Adult Employability Services – Renfrewshire Council

Renfrewshire Council seeks to appoint a suitably experienced organisation or consortium to provide an Adult Employability Service in the Renfrewshire area. The service being contracted is to maintain the provision of Client Management Services and the provision of employability support to new and existing clients from Renfrewshire seeking to secure or progress in employment and who are aged 29 years and over with multiple barriers. Within this, the service will have a particular focus on residents aged over 50 years and also those with multiple barriers including health barriers and those longer term unemployed (over 12 months).

Supply & Distribution of Fruit and Vegetables (Fresh and pre-prepared) and Fresh Bread

The Council is seeking suitably qualified suppliers to tender for a range of fresh fruit, vegetables and fresh bread on behalf of both South Lanarkshire Council and North Lanarkshire Council. The value provided is indicative only, the Councils do not warrant or guarantee this level of expenditure shall be realised. The period of contract is up to three years with options to extend for up to 24 months, to be taken up at the sole discretion of the Councils.Full details of the requirements shall be specified in the tender documents.
