BVT is looking for a consultant to undertake a participatory community consultation process which will help BVT to develop a shorter and longer term plan for community development in Balerno.
BVT aims to develop a clearer vision of what community members want for the future of Balerno. With this in mind, BVT plans to join with Balerno Community Council and any other interested local organisations, to facilitate a consultation process which will give a wide range of local people an opportunity to have their say in how they want the community to develop. We aim to develop a shorter and longer term plan for Balerno.

The Service is to provide high quality, accessible Independent Living Support to adults, children and their families assessed by the Council as having eligible social care needs. 1. This should include an Independent Support Service to enable individuals to explore which Self Directed Support option/s are best for them by explaining the nature and effect of the four options, and to provide assistance in drawing up a support plan to meet their assessed needs and personal outcomes. 2. A Recruitment and Support Service for individuals assessed by the Council as having eligible social care needs. These individuals have chosen Option 1 of the Social Care (Self-directed support) (Scotland) Act 2013 and wish to employ a Personal Assistant/s to meet part of their eligible needs and outcomes, and this has been approved by City of Edinburgh Council in their support plan. 3. A Welfare and Rights Advice Service for Adults and Older People assessed as in need of social care.

South Ayrshire Council (the Council) is seeking to implement a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the Provision of Business Consultancy Services, This Framework will be used primarily by the Business and Business Growth Teams within Economic Development Service to support South Ayrshire Businesses but will be open for use by other Service areas within the Council.

As part of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (WEEE), Argyll and Bute Council have an obligation to recycle all IT and Telecommunications equipment owned by Argyll and Bute Council. The Council is in the final year of the current contract which covers the secure disposal of the Council’s IT and Telecommunications equipment and intends to to commence a re-tender process during July 2016, aiming to potentially award contract between September and December 2016.
A suitably experienced and qualified service provider will be sought to provide a range of services including:
Uplift and secure disposal/recycling of a range of IT equipment from a number of locations within Argyll and Bute including;
PC’s, Laptops, MacBooks, Tablets, Servers, Comms Equipment (Routers, switches, hubs, Access Points), Printers, Monitors, TV/Video Conferencing systems, Toner and Print Cartridges, Laptop Batteries, Phones, Docking Stations, Headsets, etc.
It is envisaged that uplift and disposal will occur on a monthly cycle or by agreement. Assurance will be sought around the secure storage, processing and disposal of equipment including secure, reliable destruction of data to recognised ethical and ecological standards. Suppliers will be expected to undertake all works in compliance with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (WEEE) legislative obligations and meet recognised standards for secure management and destruction of data, i.e. CESG’s CPA standard.
Suppliers will be required to provide quarterly management information to enable to Council to monitor the contract spend and income for the Council derived from the resale of recycled equipment. It is the aim of the Council to seek a revenue return on the various grading of recycled equipment by the Supplier.
