The Wise Group is one of Scotland’s leading social enterprises, transforming lives since 1983. We are currently developing bids for the Work Able Scotland contract and we are considering the areas in which to bid as a lead bidder.
Skills Development Scotland is inviting bids for the Work Able Scotland Service which will be a case managed package of employment support for ESA or Universal Credit recipients, aged 18+, who want to work and require support to progress towards and into sustained employment. More information can be found at PCS.
Our approach is to work with partners who can bring local knowledge or expertise, are already embedded into local delivery and can demonstrate the impact of their work.

Provision of prison based Learning & Skills Services throughout Scotland in the public prisons operated by the SPS. The services will be provided to adults with varying degrees of pre-existing educational engagement; disadvantaged learners; ‘young offenders’ in custody (18-24): & occasionally ‘young persons’ in custody (16-17). SPS envisage one main provider arranging delivery of the Services. Delivery may however include use of sub-contractors or training partners to deliver parts of the curriculum, & to respond to changing (prisoner) needs or work to support vocational skills or employability.

North Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnership (NLH&SCP) is seeking to establish a multi-provider framework to meet its existing and future requirements in respect of externally purchased home support. The framework will exist beside our well established home support service which will be further developed to offer specialised support within the areas of re-ablement, palliative care and complex care arrangements.
A market engagement event has been planned for providers who are interested in learning more about the background to this framework, existing home support and SDS arrangements in North Lanarkshire and proposals for the implementation of this work. Further information concerning this project and details of the Supplier Engagement Day are contained in the document attached to the notice on PCS.
HIE requires a suitable qualified and experienced supplier to provide the following services: repair, maintenance and general upkeep of hard and soft landscaped areas incl. grass cutting and a preventative winter schedule for HIE’s commercial and HIE occupied property portfolio.
HIE’s current requirements are divided into 8 Lots:
