Cool2talk Support Worker – Argyll and Bute Council

Argyll and Bute Council on behalf of Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership are seeking to appoint 4 workers to meet the following:
To respond to young people’s health queries posted on the cool2talk website enabling easy access to personalised information or onward referral to appropriate services.
Maintain and develop a robust network of partners to contact for advice regarding the questions asked by young people.
Work as part of a team of four Cool2Talk Support Workers who will provide this service and supply relevant information and support to colleagues who are on the rota about services in your nominated locality.
Have a thorough knowledge of services for support and support pathways which young people can access in Argyll and Bute and Nationally.
To consult young people in order to develop the service and to evaluate the provision appropriately.
To work with colleagues in NHS, Local Authority Education and other statutory and voluntary agencies to promote and develop the service
Contribute to the promotion of the One2One on line counselling service.

Corporate Taxi Service – East Ayrshire Council

Professional Services for CHArts Place Partnership Project – Argyll and Bute Council

Argyll and Bute Council, on behalf of the Argyll and the Isles Culture, Heritage and Arts Assembly (CHArts) is seeking to appoint a company or consortium, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to deliver a development project
This will be achieved through effective collaborative working with a wide range of stakeholders in the cultural sector in Argyll and partners at a national and local level, linking the valuable work they carry out with the current public sector strategies for the sector.
This work will require the full engagement from relevant stakeholders and articulate the sector’s ambitions for creativity in Argyll. In addition, the project will enable the economic contribution of the arts, heritage, culture and creative industries in Argyll including the potential increase in cultural tourism.

Care and Support Complex Needs – The City of Edinburgh Council

The Council is seeking to provide a high quality care and support service for vulnerable men and women, aged 18+, who have complex needs, including homelessness, substance misuse, offending backgrounds and mental and physical health problems. This group also includes those leaving mental health hospital-based care.
The service will be provided within an established, Council owned property consisting of 29 one-bedroom flats in South Edinburgh and will focus on rehabilitation and recovery, where possible, with regular reviews to assess Service Users’ capacity to live in more independent accommodation.
The care and support offered should be flexible to meet the individual needs of Service Users and should enable them to lead fulfilling lives in the community, maximising life opportunities and independence, as well as enabling them to reduce the harms of their challenging lifestyles.

Langstane Housing Association Ltd. has a requirement to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a common area and stair cleaning service for its residents across its property portfolio in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray providing a clean, tidy and pleasant environment for tenants and residents to live in.

Keys to Employment – Scottish Borders Council

Scottish Borders Council has identified a need for a short training course aimed at young people who have recently been made homeless or who find themselves in a tenancy situation for the first time. The course will be designed to build confidence and personal effectiveness, and to give individuals the skills and knowledge so that they can make informed choices regarding their future. The course will give the young people the skills and knowledge to manage a tenancy and balance their budgets as well as improving their employability skills and employment prospects.
The optimum number of students on the course will be 15 and the course is expected to last around 8-12 weeks. The training must be delivered in an easily accessible location in the Scottish Borders and is it envisaged that the training will be a mixture of accredited and non-accredited (softer) units.
The training will be run once in 2017 and once in 2018 on dates to be agreed.

Resettlement of Individuals from Hospital to Accommodation in the Community – South Ayrshire Council

The aim of this Prior Information Notice is to identify potential Service Providers who have the skills, capability, knowledge and accommodation to resettle, within the community, seven individuals with long standing and complex levels of mental disorder.
