Provision of Family Support Workers – West Lothian Council

West Lothian Council seek a service provider to supply four Family Support Workers to assist with Pupil Equity Funding initiatives. The provider will have responsibility for the recruitment, line management and training of the Family Support Workers.
The model will help schools to build strong links with families who cannot be reached by existing parent participation methods. Through improving communication and relationships with families at home this should in turn improve experiences within the school.
The Family Support Workers will be based at a school within West Lothian and will work alongside Head Teachers to create individualised support plans.
The contract will be for a one year period with the possibility of extending for a further 12 months.

HR: Assessment Centres – Scottish Government

The Scottish Government requires to appoint a Contractor to provide assessment and associated services relating to external recruitment and internal vacancy filling for our core posts; our Graduate Development Programme and Senior Civil Service appointments. This includes:

  • The provision of assessment exercises and related services to all business areas;
  • National coverage, with consistent levels of service for varied requirements as needed;
  • Working with business areas to ensure that best value for money is obtained in terms of the cost/suitability of assessment exercises;
  • Providing comprehensive management information at all stages of the process.

PKC Intensive Family Support Services Consultation Meeting – Perth & Kinross Council

Perth and Kinross Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Service Providers to deliver an accessible, high quality, home based family support service to secure a nurturing environment for children.
A consultation meeting will be held on 12 October 2017 and will be open to all Providers to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to consult with, and seek feedback from, Providers on the service specification.
The draft specification is attached to this notice and we ask that you download this and return your initial feedback to us on the form provided by Monday, 18 September 2017. All comments submitted prior to the meeting will be reviewed and the impact on the specification discussed at the meeting.

Provision of Care at Home Service – North Ayrshire Council

The Service will support Older People/Adults with a range of needs through the provision of personal care, personal support, housing support and sleep overs in service users own homes. The service will be delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. The Service will normally be delivered during the core hours of 0700 to 2300 hours but providers will be required to deliver the Service out with the core hours as necessary to ensure service users receive their assessed care and support. The Council is commissioning 5,848 hours per week over 4 geographical Lots.The Council is committed to enabling service users to have choice and control over their lives and to remain living at home as independently as possible for as long as possible. Providers will be innovative and flexible in their approach to achieving positive outcomes for service users in this respect.

Residential Respite and Outreach Service for Children and Young People – East Lothian Council

East Lothian Council are seeking expressions of interest from organisations to provide residential respite services as well as day and outreach support in the community for children and young people (aged 5-19 years) with a range of complex disabilities. The residential respite services are currently provided in an existing, purpose built building located in East Lothian. East Lothian Council are interested in hearing from organisations who can propose a model of services (including residential respite) which will support and enable families to continue to care for their children and young people with complex disabilities in their own homes and within East Lothian (this includes providing the existing residential respite service from the current facility in a future contract and\or alternative and innovative approaches).
