Howard League Scotland – ‘Cons to Cobblers’ Lecture

Lecture ‘Cons to Cobblers’  being hosted by the Howard League which may be of specific interest to those seeking to work with offenders or who wish an opportunity to understand the issues of doing so.  The lecture will be chaired by Colin McConnell, Chief Executive of the Scottish Prison Service however the keynote speaker is James Timpson, Chief Executive of Timpsons.   Timpsons is a high profile supporter of recruiting ex-offenders into employment having worked with HM Prison Service in England over a number of years.  In his lecture, James will discuss the importance of second chances and the benefits of recruiting ex-offenders.
This lecture is one of a series on Citizenship organised by the Howard League for Penal Reform in Scotland and held in association with Edinburgh Law School, Centre for Law and Society.
