External Evaluator – Apps Guide Project

The partners in the Apps Guide Project are seeking an external evaluator to conduct an evaluation that will examine:

  • The quality and effectiveness of the partnership
  • The Quality of project design meeting the needs of target groups
  • Involvement of partners: sense of ownership and motivation
  • Effective management and leadership
  • Active participation of the target groups

Tenders should be submitted by 7th February 2014 and should be submitted electronically to info@lightonthepath.co.uk. Tenders will then be evaluated against the selection criteria set out below and the successful bidder will be notified by 21st  February 2014.

The successful bidder will be required to attend the Project Management Meeting on 13th and 14th March 2014 in Glasgow city centre .

Graphic design services – University of the Highlands and Islands

The university is seeking to create a preferred supplier list of graphic designers who will undertake design overflow services to support the university’s in-house design studio at times when demand exceeds capacity.

It is anticipated that the university will enter into a contract with three separate graphic designers to undertake graphic design services for print, web and other promotional materials and documentation.

Provision of Grounds Maintenance Services – Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association

A member of Places for People, Castle Rock Edinvar is one of Scotland’s leading housing associations and a Scottish Charity.

Castle Rock Edinvar own or manage 6000 homes and work with over 8000 customers. Based in Craigmillar, one of Edinburgh’s main urban regeneration areas.

Castle Rock Housing Association is seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement a Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance contract.

The contract duration is three years with a possible extension of a further one year for services in Edinburgh North & East, Midlothian and East Lothian, Edinburgh South & West, West & Stirling and Factored sites.

Potential candidates shall note that TUPE may or may not apply to this procurement. In the event that the contracting authority is able to provide TUPE information it will do so acting merely as a conduit of the information and it will not warrant, represent or guarantee the accuracy of any TUPE information provided. As such potential candidates will be expected to take their own advice as to the application of TUPE to this procurement.
