The creation of two community gardens at 2 separate sites, approximately 1/2 mile apart. The larger site is approximately 70m x 16m. Development of this vacant site will include the formation of raised growing beds and a polytunnel. The 2nd site is approximately 15m x 11m and is currently vacant. An orchard will be created at this site with a small number of raised growing beds. Please note that the project will be primarily funded via Big Lottery’s Community Spaces grant with the balance being met by the Association.

The Director of Finance and Corporate Services, on behalf of Renfrewshire Council, is seeking to appoint a Contractor for the Preparation and Delivery of Community Meals (Sandwiches/ Snack Meals).
Renfrewshire Council’s Community Meals Service aims to provide assessed users with a nutritious snack or sandwich 365 days per year.
The successful Tenderer shall be responsible for providing approximately 1300 sandwiches per week.
Due to the geographical area involved there is one functional operational centre functioning as a central hub. The Community Meals Manage will be the main point of contact for the successful Contractor.
Renfrewshire Council is recognised as an achiever of high standards in respect of the Community Meals Service, a view shared by its service users. The successful Tenderer shall be expected to work with the Council to further improve on these standards. Furthermore the successful Tenderer shall be expected to implement recommendations made by national organisations whose priority it is to ensure the welfare of this vulnerable group.
The main user of this service will be the Social Work Department for the provision of the Community Meals Service, although the Contract may be utilised in other service areas; namely Community Resources for supply of sandwiches to St Mary’s Primary School and the Atrium service located within Renfrewshire House. Further to these two Council departments, other departments of the Council will have the ability to utilise this contract, along with and not limited to Renfrewshire Leisure Limited.

Southside Housing Association has recently secured a Development Funding grant from The Big Lottery to develop a Community Hub (incorporating a new Nan McKay Hall) in Pollokshields on the south side of Glasgow. This Development Funding award will enable the Association to develop technical and business case activities which will progress the scheme to Stage D+ including obtaining planning consent. The intention is on completion of the Development Funding to submit a bid to the Big Lottery for funding of the remaining aspects of the project, subject to their prescribed limits on funding, together with other suitable funders. This tender is for the complete process, however progression beyond Stage D+ will be subject to successful funding applications being made and the successful team will be on appointed on a staged basis with no guarantee that the project will progress beyond the end of the Development Funding.
Architects are invited to submit a tender as a Sole Lead Consultant together with a full design team providing all necessary Project Management Architectural, Engineering, Quantity Surveying and CDM Co-ordinator Services for the project. It is anticipated that you will be required to employ these services directly, and manage and co-ordinate as if they were being delivered by yourselves in-house.

The contract is for the provision of occupational health and physiotherapy services in all Divisions of Police Scotland.
The workforce is dispersed throughout Scotland, including the Western and Northern Isles. The locations for delivering the Services will be a combination of Police Scotland premises and Contractor owned, rented or mobile accommodation, as appropriate for the specific Service requirement.
The primary aim of the occupational health service is to support Police Scotland’s objectives of a reduction in absence and ill health retiral rates through delivery of a responsive and timely professional advisory service.
