Provision of a Wind Energy Feasibility Study and Preliminary Design Work – Orkney Islands Council

Orkney Islands Council (”the Council”) is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide a wind farm feasibility study and preliminary design work for identified project sites in Orkney. The Council wishes to accelerate progress towards the Scottish Government’s target of 500MW of renewable energy to be locally or community owned, and to maximise the benefits to communities from commercially owned energy.

Glencanisp Nature Trial – The Assynt Foundation

The creation of a 465 metre long nature trail, 1.2 metres in width. The proposed path is on sloping ground, within an area previously planted with trees, and will provide an additional scenic walkway, linked to a well established footpath network.

Flexible Homelessness Outreach Support Services – Glasgow City Council

The service will deliver an integrated needs-led, holistic approach to support people in emergency accommodation, including Temporary Furnished Flats (TFFs), Bed & Breakfast and other homelessness services as appropriate. These services will be targeted at those who would benefit from housing support and outreach models of intervention and / or those with additional support needs including Mental Health, Learning Disability, Physical Disability and/or Addiction issues. A key aim of these services, which will operate in each of the City’s three Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) localities, will be to support individuals and families to develop resilience, confidence, the skills required to maintain and sustain their own tenancies and improved well-being in a community setting and facilitate effective move-on to permanent accommodation.

Home Support Services – North Lanarkshire Council

North Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnership (NLH&SCP) is seeking to establish a multi-provider framework to meet its existing and future requirements in respect of externally purchased home support. The framework will exist beside our well established home support service which will be further developed to offer specialised support within the areas of re-ablement, palliative care and complex care arrangements.

A market engagement event has been planned for providers who are interested in learning more about the background to this framework, existing home support and SDS arrangements in North Lanarkshire and proposals for the implementation of this work.
