We have published our procurement strategy for 2017 to 2019.
Ainslie McLaughlin, Director for Procurement and Commercial, says:
“I am pleased to announce that we published our procurement strategy on 29 December. The public sector spends around £11 billion a year buying goods and services. The strategy sets out the Scottish Government’s plans for its procurement and how it will help support economic growth and deliver benefits for people and communities.
“The strategy is an evolving document which will be reviewed and improved. Our performance in delivering the strategy will be published in an annual report.”
