Glenan Community Woodland – invitation to tender for feasibility and business plan – Friends of Glenan Wood

Friends of Glenan Wood SCIO wishes to commission a Feasibility Study and Business Plan to support an application to the Scottish Land Fund for the purchase of Glenan Wood via the Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) Community Asset Transfer Scheme (CATS).

Calderbank & Chapelhall Woodland & Access Improvements – North Lanarkshire Council

North Lanarkshire Council wishes to establish a contract for the supply and delivery of woodland management and access improvement works at a Council owned woodland site located between the towns of Calderbank and Chapelhall.

Adult Care Services for High Complex Needs – South Lanarkshire Council

The purpose of this contract is to put in place a bespoke support service for initially one individual with highly complex needs and challenging behaviours. The council may seek to add up to three additional service users over the life of the contract dependent on suitability, compatibility and risk considerations.

The provider will require to evidence and demonstrate proven experience in the support and management of people who present with significant challenging behaviours and will have an established infrastructure that can deliver bespoke interventions that are flexible and will accommodate the unpredictable needs of this individual. This may include non traditional forms of interventions including supine restraint. The provider should be able to demonstrate other forms of interventions such as redirection that will minimise the need to utilise a restraint model and which will improve the quality of life and reduce risk for the service user(s).

SCALE Summer School 2018-19 – Highlands and Islands Enterprise

Scotland Can Do SCALE is an inclusive, high growth entrepreneurial education initiative led by three government agencies, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Funding Council (the Partners) with strong backing from the Scottish Government. On behalf of the Partners, HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to deliver a residential Scotland Can Do SCALE Summer School. This should include one main speaker who will deliver at least 50% of the topics, plus at least one other speaker who will deliver the rest of the topics plus a Master of Ceremonies/facilitator(s).
