Community Integrated Care – Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) SVQs

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work in the community, delivering life-enhancing support to people with a diverse range of care needs, including: Learning Disabilities; Mental Health Concerns; Autism; Age-Related Needs; and Dementia.

In line with SSSC regulations, staff in our services across Scotland are required to complete SVQs, predominantly at Levels 2, 3 and 4. We are currently seeking suitably experienced training providers for provision of training, assessment and verification for up to 1200 staff across Scotland, split into regions (North, Central, South 1 (D&G) and South 2(Scottish Borders)).

Provision of External Accredited Vocational Training – Renfrewshire Council

Renfrewshire Council seeks multiple training providers to deliver a range of accredited vocational qualifications for participants registered with Invest in Renfrewshire Employability Service.

The External Accredited Vocational Training Framework target group for this programme is unemployed and employed residents of the Renfrewshire Council area. Participants can be aged 16 – 29 years or 30 – 64 years with multiple barriers to employment. All participants must be registered with Invest in Renfrewshire and eligible for the ESF funded Youth Employment Initiative or Employability Pipeline Programmes

Older People’s Mental Health Community Support Service – West Lothian Council

West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership require a service provider to contribute to the prevention and further deterioration of mental health problems in those aged 55 years and older by providing support to build self –confidence and the development of personal coping strategies.

The service provider will be required to provide community support services to those who are:
At risk of suicide or self-harm ;

Socially disconnected and deemed to be vulnerable to developing depression or mental health problems ;

Those who are at risk of admission to hospital due to poor mental health ;
Those who meet the above criteria and are assessed as being most likely to benefit from access to the service.

The annual budget for this service is GBP 64,680.

Children & Young People’s Mental Health in Midlothian – NHS Lothian

NHS Lothian is seeking proposals from bidders to deliver a programme of activities in Midlothian using a community based preventative approach to improve outcomes for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues.

2 Support and early interventions for children and young people.
