Teaming up to help people with learning disabilities

The Scotsman newspaper published an article on the changing landscape of social care in Scotland. Theresa Shearer (CEO of ENABLE Scotland) explained how the social care sector is operating in a very difficult financial climate where budgets are being reduced and the importance to focus on the outcomes for individuals and the outcomes the service is having on their life.  Social care providers must be more creative and innovative than ever before to ensure they react to the requirements of their customers.

Theresa mentions how  alternative delivery vehicles  such as public social partnerships and social enterprises are developing across Scotland.
