How do we purchase quality care and support the meets people’s needs, support their outcomes while ensuring a sustainable organisations and fair reward for the social care workforce? Social care purchasing often focusses on competitive (re)tendering but this is not the only answer to this complex question.
With input from a range of expert speakers and innovators participants will have space to critically consider different approaches to the purchase of care and support services with colleagues from across the sector including local authorities, the NHS, providers and local and national policymakers.
This event is aimed at those managing and designing services in the third sector and commissioning and procurement staff from the public sector.
