Supplier Development Program: Interserve Construction and Babcock Wilcox Vølund A/S (JV) hosts a ‘Meet the Buyer Event’.

Construction of the £177m Dunbar Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) at Viridor’s existing rail linked Dunbar waste treatment hub in East Lothian, Scotland commenced in 2014.

The facility is integral to the Scottish Government’s ambitions to deliver a zero waste, circular economy which encourages waste reduction, boosts recycling and recovers vital renewable energy from what remains. In tandem with the investment in a Scottish £125m network of recycling-led infrastructure, the project will deliver a 300,000 tonnes per annum ERF which will divert post-recycling ‘residual’ waste from landfill and contribute to Scottish energy security.  Following a 36 month build programme, the facility is due for completion in December 2017.

A joint venture comprising Interserve and Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S are hosting a Meet the Buyer event and we are giving you the chance to meet key decision makers from the private sector organisations, all looking to talk to you about their upcoming work contracts in the region.
