Glasgow City Council invites tender bids for The Provision of Services for Glasgow’s ESF Poverty & Social Inclusion Operation.

The contract will deliver Landscape maintenance services to approx 3300 properties across Lanarkshire, and also provides a factoring service to around 2,800 owner-occupiers. Currently the properties are located within the North and South Lanarkshire However, the properties may be located within a wider geographical area in the future.

A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:
Applicants who are successful in being invited to tender may be asked to provide details of the number of new entrants they propose to employ over the initial contract period.
A new entrant trainee is a person who is leaving an educational establishment (e.g. school, college or university) or leaving a training provider, or a non-employed person seeking employment that includes on-site training and assessment or off-site training or a mix of these

The Highland Council, acting for itself and on behalf of the Participating Organisations, is intending to put in place a Framework Agreement with one single provider for the provision of face to face interpretation services, on an as and when required basis.
The Participating Organisations that reserve the right to use this Framework Agreement within their operating areas are:
- The Highland Council
- NHS Highland
- Advice Agency Network – example Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB); where contracted to The Highland Council to provide Advice and Information Services on behalf of The Highland Council and the Interpretation Services are being paid for by The Highland Council)
- High Life Highland
The Framework shall be for a 3 year period from 16/01/2017 to 31/01/2020, with the option for the Authority and or Participating Organisations to extend by a period of up to twelve 12 months, subject to mutual agreement.

Inverclyde Council are inviting Tenders for the service provision of one Lot or more than one Lot.
This Invitation to Tender contains the details of three Service Specifications:-
Lot 1: An End-to-End Employability Service.
Lot 2: Specialist Service Addressing Health Barriers to Employment.
Lot 3: Specialist Service Providing Employment Advice, Advocacy and Guidance

To provide a Housing Support Service to people experiencing mental illness, who meet the social work eligibility criteria, through assisting them to manage and maintain community living independently. The Service is to be accessible across the Scottish Borders area and delivered in line with the National Care Standards prescribed Housing Support tasks - more detail can be found within the specification on specific tasks that will be required. The Service will work in partnership with other services and professionals.
Scottish Borders Council is committed to maximising community benefits from its procurement activities. Under this procurement, the provider and its supply chain will be required to actively participate in the achievement of the authorities’ social and economic objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social, economic and environmental considerations.
